KEYSTROKEK

The Keystroke Audit.

We watch one of your processes from start to finish, count every keystroke in it, and tell you what it costs and what to fix.

A keystroke is one thing a person has to type or click.

How it works.

  1. We watch one process.

Someone does the job once, the usual way, while we record it.

  2. We count it.

Every keystroke in it, and how often it happens in a year.

  3. You get a report and a fixed quote.

What it costs you, what to fix first, and what the fix would cost.

What you get.

A short report and a quote. This is a sample.

Questions people ask.

What does the audit cost?

The Keystroke Audit is fixed price, published with our plans. The first conversation and a quick initial audit are free, with no obligation. The initial audit is an overview of where the hand work is, not an in-depth count. Anything built afterwards is quoted on its own.

What do you need from us?

One process, and someone who does it. That person does the job once, the usual way, while we record it. The counting is ours.

How long does the audit take?

1–2 weeks from the recording to the report.

What is a keystroke?

One thing a person has to type or click: a character, a click, a copy, a paste or a file attached. We count them from a recording, not from an estimate.

Which process should we choose?

Something your team does by hand every week, such as quoting, invoicing or month-end. If you are not sure, the quiz will point to one.

What if the number turns out to be small?

Then the report says so, and you can stop there. If the count shows nothing worth building, we will tell you.
